Emil A. Mollert, 65, St. Charles, died Sunday morning in a Rochester Hospital after a long illness. He had a stroke about eight months ago.
Mr. Mollert was born July 1, 1898 at Elba, Minn, to Mr. and Mrs. Herman Mollert. He married Josephine Mueller, Minneiska, Oct. 5, 1920. He farmed all his life in the St. Charles area, moving into the town in 1963.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Robert, St. Charles and Charles of Lime Springs, Iowa, four daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Dorothy) Rowekamp and Mrs. Fred (Veronica Ann) Rahrman, Minneapolis and Marilyn, at home; one brother Herbert, Elba; one sister, Edna Mollert, St. Paul, and 13 grandchildren, one born Friday.
The Rev. James Fasnacht will conduct a service Wednesday 10 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Elba. Friends may call at Sellner Funeral Home after noon Tuesday. Rosary will be said at 8 p.m.
