She married in Miami County, Ohio, on June 3, 1914, to Elvin Howard Eyler, son of John Eyler and Emma Stitely. Susan and Elvin were the parents of 4 children, 3 sons and 1 daughter: Don Leroy, Elvin Howard, Kent Eugene and Betty Louise Eyler. Elizabeth passed away December 21, 1978, in Lima, Allen County, and was buried in Shawnee Cemetery, Ft. Shawnee, Allen County, Ohio.
