Helen Aaron Brown, of 108 Railroad Lane, Critz, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2004.

She was the daughter of the late Lester "Rabbit" Aaron Sr., and the late Ellen Crocker Aaron. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Aaron, and a brother, Lewis Aaron.

She was retired from DuPont and a member of Stone Memorial Christian Church.

Her survivors include her husband, James Clyde Brown of the home; three daughters, Nancy Arrington of Snow Creek, Marie Davis-Greenhill of Mebane, N.C, and Brenda Foster Hooper of Ridgeway; four sisters, Betty West, Margie Brim, and Marie Martin, all of Martinsville, and Jo Ann Winston of Bedford; one brother, Lester Aaron, of Stanleytown; 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Norris Funeral Services Chapel with Revs. Lawrence Harris and Billy Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and other times at the home of her daughter, Brenda Arrington, 900 Snow Creek Road, Martinsville, or at the home in Critz.
