Adolphus L. CRIPPEN, aged 85 and a lifelong resident of York Hill, died at 8 p.m. on Saturday at the family home after an illness of several months.
Besides his wife, Mary, he leaves eight children: Mrs. Nora RUSSELL, Nutley, N.J., Mrs. Amanda PHILLIPS, Corry; Mrs. Anna KELLY and Miss Rebecca Crippen, Cambridge, Mass; Mrs. Dorothy MAIN, Warren; William and Arthur CRIPPEN, and Loretta MANELIK, Youngsville; also 35 grandchildren, 45 greatgrandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Removal has been made to the Young Funeral Home in Youngsville where friends will be received until the time of services at ten o'clock Tuesday morning at St. Luke's Church in Irvine. Father Edward Jacobs, of Tidioute, will officiate at the requiem mass and interment will follow in the Youngsville Cemetery.
