Funeral services for Randy Armstrong, 52, of Cadiz, will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Visitation will be at 12 noon until the service hour. The Revs. Paxton Redd, Hal Shipley and John Leneave will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Cadiz. Goodwin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

He was born on Sept. 29, 1959, to Sam Armstrong and Virginia Turner Armstrong.
Randy was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and he was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Virginia Armstrong.
Randy is survived by one sister, Debbie (and husband Hugh) Roberts, Jr. of Cadiz; one nephew, Evan Roberts; one niece, Dr. Mary Scott (and husband Tim Ramitz); one uncle, Charlie Turner and one aunt, Amber Armstrong.
Serving as active pallbearers will be John Leneave, David Cunningham, Joel Armstrong, Kenny Turner, Bill Stallons, Greg Calhoun, Chris Sumner and Mike Sadler. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Robbie Flood, Mark York, Harrell Guier, Linsey Champion, Scott Jolly, Raybon Crump, Jr. and Flint Free.
