Born in Leithsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and the late Anna ( nee Strock) Strauss. She was a resident of Holmes for the past 50 years. She was a Homemaker, who was dedicated to her family. Marjorie was an active member with Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, Secane. She enjoyed collecting light houses, dolls, bells and was an avid reader. Pre-deceased by her daughter Mary E. Mapp; 2 brothers Kenneth and Robert Strauss; 5 sisters Grace Ruch, Ruth Moyer, Florence Arena, Verna Fluck and Eunice Hanselman. Survived by her husband of 53 years Forrest B. Mapp; her son Edward Mapp; 3 sisters Dorothy Daneker, Betty Shannon and Faye Wetzel. Funeral service Wednesday at 10 AM at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 2545 Franklin Ave., Secane. Visitation Wednesday 9 to 10 AMat Holy Spirit Lutheran Church.
