DEFIANCE JOHNSON
Funeral services were held on
Wednesday afternoon,, June 14th at
the Fostoria Church for Defiance
Johnson, 97, who died at his home
on Monday, June 12th after a short
illness.
Mr. Johnson was born at Marietta
Ohio, December 13, 1852 and came
to Oakland County with his parents
at the age of two years', coming to
Fostoria : at the age of 5 years.
In 1882 he was married to Miss
Martha Young of Millington who
died a few years ago.
Surviving are a son Allan of
Fostoria and one daughter Mrs.
Harley. Hokington of Flint. Rev.
Robert Pitcher officiated and burial
was made in Watertown cemetery
