Marilyn J. Pautz, age 82, of Sheboygan, died on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. She was born in Sheboygan on December 30, 1929, daughter of the late Frank and Bertha (Neitzke) Tauferner.

Marilyn attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan Central High School in 1947.

On September 16, 1950, Marilyn was united in marriage to Victor Pautz at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

She was a secretary at Northland Plastic Company for 27 years, retiring in 1987.

Marilyn was a volunteer and past manager at the Bethesda Thrift Store 25 years. She and her husband volunteered with Labors for Christ helping to rebuild homes from natural disasters and assisting with building projects within the church. She enjoyed bowling, baking, cooking, playing cards, listening to Milwaukee Brewers games and spending time with her grandchildren and a great-grandchild, Isaiah.

She is survived by her husband, Victor Pautz, of Sheboygan, and her loving family, daughter, Denise (Dennis) Furlong, of Onalaska, a son, Steve (friend Mary Green) Pautz, of Sheboygan, five grandchildren, Jared Krentz, of LaCrosse, Melissa (Cory) Akers, of Cudahy, Mallory(fiancé Yonic Oregon) Pautz, of Sheboygan, Craig Pautz, of Sheboygan, Aaron Cannon, of Germantown and one great-grandchild, Isaiah Pautz. Marilyn is also survived by her sister, Joyce (Bob) Simonsmeier, of Howards Grove, and her two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Tauferner, of Texas and Helen Tauferner, of Sheboygan. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Her parents, daughter, Jodell Cannon, a sister, Viola Burkhardt, her three brothers, Lee, Martin, Donald Tauferner, and a daughter-in-law, Anna Marie Pautz, all preceded her in death.

A funeral service for Marilyn will be held on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 12:00P.M at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1121 Georgia Ave., Sheboygan with Rev. James Hartman, officiating. Family and friends may call at church on Friday morning from 10:30A.M. until the time of service at 12:00P.M. Entombment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park in the Gardens of Peace Mausoleum.
