Charles Madan is the son of Lorenzo John Madan 1885. His x4 great grandfather John was a Sgt in the 7th Mass Regiment during the Revolutionary war. His great great grandfather Washington Madan 1815 was a Civil War veteran who served in the 40th MA Infantry Regiment Company F. 2 of his first cousins would also serve in the Army during WW2. Along with a couple of more 2nd cousins. His Brother George served in the U.S. Navy during WW2. He would also have many blood line Madan relatives who served in Korea, Vietnam, Cold War, and OIF.
