Ann Louise Murphy was the only child of Lawrence Edward Murphy and Mary Ursula O'Donnell. With the exception of the last several years of her life, she was a resident of Waterbury, Connecticut.
She married the love of her life in 1952 and the following year they had their first of 10 children. During her marriage, Ann and her husband, Furlan (aka Lonnie), owned and ran Mohawk Home improvement until Furlan's death in 1970.
Ann was very politically active and quite liberal in her views on life despite her parent's conservative views. Additionally, she was a fabulous cook and she passed that trait down to her children.
