Born the oldest child of John Heath and Sarah Partridge,he was united in marriage to Mary Bradley of Haverhill on 23 Jan 1691. She is the daughter of Daniel Bradley and Mary Williams.


They are the parents of six children, all born in Havenhill.

Bartholomew came with his brother William on the "Lion" in 1632 to Salisbury, NH, and then to Newbury, Massachusetts. He was one of the 32 landowners of Haverhill in 1645, made freeman in 1646, and built a house on the Commons in 1650. Bartholomew was killed in the Indian massacre of August 4, 1704.
