She was born Nov. 10, 1928, in Bradenton and was a lifetime resident. She retired as a cook from Walgreens Department Store and was a member of Church of Christ.
Survivors include daughters Lezoria Edwards, Rosetta Waiters, Sonja Hines, all of Bradenton, and Yvonne Stevenson of Melbourne; sons Oscar, Roosevelt and Stanley, all of Bradenton; a sister, Bernice Jones of Bradenton; a brother, Ferman Richards Sr. of Bradenton; 49 grandchildren; and 90 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Westside Funeral Home in Bradenton. A service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Church of Christ. Burial will be in Mansion Memorial Park in Ellenton. Westside Funeral Home, 11 St. W., Palmetto, is in charge.
