Mrs. Melone, 40,
Dies in Hospital;
Funeral Monday
Mrs. Alice Keeler Melone, 40, of 1412 E. Jefferson ave., died at Iowa Lutheran hospital Satuday.
Funeral services will be held at Church of The Visitation, E. Ninth st. and Garfield ave., at 9 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Glendale cemetery.
Mrs. Melone, who was born in Des Moines, is survived by her husband, Sterling E. Melone, a clerk at the post office; five children, Margaret Ann, Betty, Patricia, Charles and Edward; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Keeler, 1219 Buchanan st.
Two sisters, Kathryn Keeler and Sister Mary Carlos, both of Des Moines, and two brothers, Thomas Keeler of Des Moines and the Rev. Maurice Keeler of Minneapolis, Minn., also survive.
The body will lie in state at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Keeler until the funeral services.
