She was born July 30, 1920 in El Dorado. The daughter of Orvil Isaac and Iva Mae (Doores) Hale. She is a graduate of El Dorado High School.
She married Edward Carl Ware on Sept. 1, 1940 in El Dorado and then moved to Junction City. Her husband preceded her in death on Aug. 7, 1986.
She has lived in Junction City most of her life. She was a bookkeeper with the Ware Accounting from 1952 - 1981. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Covenant.
Survivors include two sons David Ware of Wichita and James Ware of West Plains, MO.; one daughter Susan Tressin of Olathe; one brother Kenneth Hale of Norman, OK.; five grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Eugene Hale and sister, Helen Dixon.
