Opal Bridges-Dunlap, 97, of White Cloud, MI died July 21, 2012 at Lakeside Vista of Holland, MI. She was born May 17, 1915 in Indian Bay to Arlie and Ophelia Eula Frost Dry.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, William Vernon Bridges, Sr.; second husband, Wes Dunlap; sons, Kenneth Allison Bridges and William Vernon Bridges, Jr.; grandsons, Greg Bridges and Jody Bridges; great-grandchildren, Jarrod Allen Martinez and Cristy Rose Bridges.
Survivors include her children, Donald Elmo Bridges (Betty) of Strawberry, Barbara Barton (Frank) of White Cloud, MI, and Carolyn Prins (Ron) of Holland, MI; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 26, 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge.
Funeral services will immediately follow visitation with Marvin Reynolds and Daniel Bridges officiating.
Interment will be in Strangers Home Cemetery in Alicia. Pallbearers are Daniel Bridges, Jeb Bridges, Terry Owens, Josh Owens, Aaron Owens, Todd Prins, and Allison Dry.
