Elmer H. Eckert Dies at Home
Elmer H. Eckert 78, of 4537 E. Fourth St., died at 11:20 a.m. Monday at his residence.
Member of an old Dayton family, he had resided here until 1906, returning in 1957 after years of travel. His father, the late Joseph Eckert, once owned much of the property in the East End.
Surviving Mr. Eckert is his wife, Alice Mae.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Horne Funeral home, 1817 E. Third St. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. today.
