Mrs. Berdice died Sunday, February 5, 2006, in the White Community Hospital in Aurora.
She was born May 15, 1947 in Moose Lake, MN, to Carl and Eiffel (Mossberg) Ohlin. She was a graduate of Moose Lake High School and later attended Itasca Community College. She was a graduate of Bemidji State College, earning a degree in Elementary Education. Following her education she taught school in Kettle River, MN. She married Edward Berdice, September 2, 1972, in Moose Lake.
The couple moved to Aurora, where Sue taught elementary school at the Cina School, Boase Elementary and at Mesabi East with over 30 years of service. She retired in 2005.
Sue was a member of the United Methodist Church in Aurora and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed her afternoon walks with friends, visiting and traveling. Sue especially enjoyed traveling the Scandinavian countries and enjoyed her Swedish heritage.
Her kind and gentle spirit touched us all and she will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her husband, Edward; siblings: Nancy (Art) Forse of Moose Lake, Clayton Ohlin of Moose Lake, Graydon Ohlin of Moose Lake, Grace (Dave) Hall of Cloquet, and Gail (Steve Showcatally) Hunt of St. Paul; one niece, Britta Hall; two nephews: Gene Hall and Austin Hall.
She is preceded in death by her parents and two nephews, Gus and Carl.
