Mrs. Gladys H. Bloom of 413 W. Locust St. Clearfield, died yesterday at 6:30 p.m. in the Clearfield Hospital. She was 62.

She was born Feb. 21, 1907 at Kerrmoor, a daughter of the late Perry L. and Nellie (Dutra) Hile

In addition to her husband, Eldon L. Bloom, the following brothers and sisters survive: Mrs. Edgar (Lenore) Hixon, Tonawanda, NY; Mrs. Betty Cobel, Wausau, Wis.; and Perry D. Hile, Clearfield. Three nephews and one niece also survive.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Retired Teachers Club, Amaranth Club, Woman's Club and served as matron of the Order of Eastern Star for the 1968-69 session.

Prior to retiring in 1962 she taught in the Ferguson and Bradford Township schools for 35 years.

Funeral services in charge of the Rev. Oliver H. R. Krapf will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Fred B. Leavy Funeral Home at Clearfield.

Interment will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park.
