Doris M. Sorensen passed away on Aug. 28, 2004, at her home in Somis with her family by her side, after a long fight with cancer.She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Sorensen of Los Angeles; son, Jay H. Sorensen III and his wife, Stella Guo-Sorensen, of Shelby Township, Mich.; grandson, Jay H. Sorensen IV, and his wife, Jessica; brother, Albert Andersen of White Bear Lake, Minn.; numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express appreciation to all of those who contributed during recent weeks, with particular thanks for the extraordinary efforts of Dave Petit, a very special friend.
