John Pfister emigrated in 1843 from Bavaria, Germany to Elm Grove, Waukesha Co, WI and then moved in 1852 to the Township of Charlestown. Carolina Kolbe emigrated in 1853 from Silesia, Prussia to Charlestown. The Pfister family farmed on County Hwy T, Charlestown and was one of the first families to join the parish in 1866. They had seven children:
1. Victoria (Pfister) Woelfel
2. Margaretha (Pfister) Gebhard
3. Andrew Pfister
4. Mary Elisabeth (Pfister) Woelfel
5. Lawrence Pfister
6. Anna (Pfister) Munker
7. Rosa (Pfister) Wieseckel
