Mr. Meyers, who was 81, was a retired custodian at the Beaverton United Methodist Church. He was born in Milltown, South Dakota.
Survivors include his wife, Leola; two sons, Harold Meyers, Tigard and Wayne Meyers, Aloha; a brother, George Meyers, Shannon, Illinois; two sisters, Ruth Stainbrook, Sioux Falls, S.D. and Roseila Ohrt, Mitchell, S.D; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Entombment will be in Sunset Hills Mausoleum.
The family suggests that remembrances be contributions to the Oregon Heart Fund.
