Mr. Anderson was born August 1, 1904 at Bark River, Michigan, son of the late Henning and Emma Nelson Anderson. He grew up and was educated at Bark River, Michigan, moving to Manitowoc in 1926 and residing here since. Mr. Anderson worked for Manitowoc Engineering Company for many years, retiring in 1967. He married the former Lillian Barschow on June 12, 1930 at Manitowoc. Mr. Anderson was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian; a daughter and son-in-law, Caroline and Donald Glaeser of Brillion; a niece, Janet Nordress of Payne, Ohio; two nephews, Charles Indestad of Manitowoc and George Indestad of Sedalia, Missouri; a brother, Henry Anderson of Bark River, Michigan; a sister, Ann Verderese of Bronx, New York; a brother-in-law, Tony Pirlot of Bark River, Michigan; a sister-in-law, Florence Anderson of Minneapolis, Minnesota; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren and other nieces, nephews and relatives survive. He was preceded in death by an infant son, four brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum from 12:30 pm Monday until the hour of service. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran church. There will be no Sunday evening visitation at Reinbold Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
