FUNERAL HELD FOR WM. F. ALBRECHT
Died of Coronary Thrombosis
July 22 at Community Hospital;
Came to Princeton in 1955
Services for William F. Albrecht, 77, were conducted by Rev. Isaac Anderson at the Kaun funeral home on Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Mr. Albrecht died of a coronary thrombosis on Wednesday of last week at the Community hospital.
Miss Mary Ann Walker was the organist. Andrew Hellzen sang two hymns. “Lead, Kindly Light" and “Abide With Me." Pallbearers were Jesse Bovee, Richard Wilkening, Anthony Rosinger, Lester Schardin, Niel Thompson and Ralph Thompson. Burial was in Oak Knoll cemetery.
William Fredrick Albrecht, son of Hans and Mary Harder Albrecht, was born at Atlantic, Iowa, on November 4, l88l. When he was 15 years of age the family moved to Lake Benton, Minn. He was married at Lake Benton on March 29, 1905, to Ida Margaret Hanson. They conducted a farm there until November 1918, when they moved to Hayward, Wis. They came to Princeton in June 1955.
Besides his wife, Mr. Albrecht is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Arthur Thompson (Tessie) of Waukegan, Ill., Mrs. Jesse Bovee (Evelyn) of Princeton, and Mrs. Richard Wilkening (Vera) of Truman. One son, Duane, preceded him in death in 1934. He also leaves one sister, Mrs. Otto Schardin, (Emma) of River Falls, Wis., 12 grandchildren, four nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by one great-grandson and two brothers, Walter of Lake Benton, and Fred of Hayward, Wis.
Out-of-town relatives in attendance at the services were Mr. and Mrs. Otto C. Schardin and Clair Morrow, of River Falls, Wis.; Alice Hawkenson, of Shafer; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wilkening, Mryna and Steven, of Truman; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph A. Thompson and Lester Schardin, of St. Paul; Mr. and
Mrs. Neil W. Thompson, of Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Rosinger, Tim, Randy, Toni Ray and Toby, of Sartell. Others present were Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Bovee, Lauralee Rae and Joel, Dolores Sheele, and friends.
A daughter, Mrs. Arthur Thompson of Waukegan, Ill., was unable to attend because of ill health and sickness in the family.
