WILLIAM H. JENNINGS

William Hendrickson Jennings, 76, a retired farmer, died at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in Granby Community Hospital where he had been a patient since he suffered a broken hip at his home in Granby on Monday.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Granby with Rev. G.T. Kelley and Rev. W.L. Warlow officiating. Burial will be in Hazel Green Cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the Culver-Shewmake Funeral Home in Granby until the funeral hour.

Mr. Jennings was born April 15, 1878 in Ray County, Missouri, but had lived in the Granby area most of his life.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Nora Clemens of Parsons, Kan., Mrs. Opal Tideman of Cabool, Mrs. Rosa Casey of Monticello, Calif., and Mrs. Elizabeth Harris of Granby route 1, three sons, Orvile Jennings of Chico, Calif., Arthur Jennings of Neosho route 5, and Edwin Jennings of Neosho route 3, two step-sons, Hurley Clemens and Shelley Clemens of Parsons, a brother, Robert Jennings of Pampa, Tex., two sisters, Mrs. Sara Delano and Mrs. Josie McKee, both of Stella, 31 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Husband of Jessie "Pearl" Pearl (Ross) Jennings (She died Feb. 5th or 6th 1923. NOTE: There are two death certificates for her.

Son of John William Jennings, bp. TX. & Nancy E. (Harris) Jennings, bp. MO.

William was a farmer. He lived in Granby, MO. He died at 11:30 p.m. at Granby Community Hospital after a 2 day stay. He died from injuries received at home at 6 a.m. on March 7th. He had slipped and fell on the floor and fractured his neck of left femur.

Informant was Mrs. Eliabeth Harris of Granby, Missouri.
