Adolph William Herman Stark was born on Dec. 8, 1883, in Nebraska, the son of William F and Louisa Stark, both from Germany.
He was married twice. He first married Minnie Lunze Klitzke about 1909 in Nebraska. They were the parents of two daughters:

Minnie apparently died between 1917 and 1920 as she is listed on Adolph's WWI draft Registration card but not found on the 1920 US Census which only lists Adolph and their two daughters. The 1920 Minnesota Census for Litchfield, Meeker County also lists the daughters living with their grandparents; Gustav and Louise Klitzke. Minnie is not listed on that census either.
Adolph next married Paula E. Fietaut in 1924. They were the parents of:

Willie Ernest
Faye Lillie
