Mrs. Sarah Jane Brown, 81, 203 West 22nd Street, died Thursday morning in a hospital following a long illness. She had resided in Sioux City for 40 years. She was born in Kenton, Harden co, Ohio, 15 September 1863. She had been a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church for 55 years.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. Flora Harrington of Sioux City and Mrs. Emma Baker of Compton, California; sons W. A. Brown of Shreveport, La. and G. Brown of Sioux City; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today in the Perasso Bros. Chapel, Rev. John C. Klose will officiate & interment will be in Logan Park Cemetery.
