Mrs. Ida Blume died at the Napper hospital about 2 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, after a critical illness of two weeks.
She was the widow of Henry Blume, retired railroad engineer, who preceded her in death about five years ago. Mrs. Blume's maiden name was Bower, and she was raised in the Nabb community. She and her husband had lived in Scottsburg for many years.
She is survived by her son, Harry Blume, daughters, Mrs. Emma Cravens and Mrs. Naomi Plaskett, and by three grandchildren.
A daughter, Mrs. Emma Cravens, had been in a Louisville hospital and she was brought home Tuesday after noon.
The Rev. Lucien V. Rule, pastor, will conduct the funeral service at two o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Presbyterian church in Scottsburg. Burial will be in charge of L B Stewart & Son at the Scottsburg cemetery.
