Funeral of James D. Carson.

CHICAGO, April 28 -- The funeral of James D. Carson took place in the chapel at Graceland cemetery at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon, and was largely attended by railroad and theatrical people, with whom Mr. Carson was, for many years, associated as General Manager of the Chicago & Western Indiana railroad, and as the Proprietor and Manager of the Columbia Theater.

Two sons and a sister accompanied the remains from the East. The services, which were simple, were conducted by Reverend Clinch, the Assistant Rector of Grace Church. The following were pall bearers: Will J. Davis, W. S. Eden, Charles Rector, J. T. McCord, and W. C. Lyon.
