She was born in Port Louis Mauritius, the daughter of Maxim Pascall (deceased) and Suzy Moon. She earned her B.S. in business at Hampton University and attended Regent University pursuing a master's in theology. She retired from the city of Norfolk in 2011 after 34 years of service. She was a minister at the First Church of God in Newport News where she wore many hats. She loved her church family and lived a godly life with a real inner spiritual relationship with God.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband, the Rev. Leon Aaron; stepfather, Herman Moon (Effie); stepdaughter, Amber Aaron; two brothers, Keith Moon and Dexter Moon (Lottie); sister, Aleasea Moon; uncle, Cyril Pillay; three sisters-in-law, Roxanne Aaron, Charlene Aaron King (Andre), and Chiquita Aaron; one brother-in-law, Jonathan Aaron (Stephanie); her special godmothers, Mae Rankin and Mamie Carney; and a hosts of nieces, nephews and many beloved extended family and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2012, at First Church of God, 1261 20th Street, Newport News, Va. Interment will follow at Hampton Memorial Gardens.
In memory of Minister Aaron, memorial contributions may be sent to the First Church of God's scholarship fund.
