Marion Elledge Allen passed away on July 24, 2012. Whether you called him ME, Elledge, Ed, dad, or grandpa, he was always there if you needed him. He didn't say a lot, but his loving actions spoke loud and clear. He loved doing anything outside and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved gospel quartet music and we know that he is singing along with the choir in Heaven.

He is survived by his wife Patsy, daughter, Andrea Allen Cathey, and son, Philip Wesley Allen, and grandchildren, Allen, John William, Madison, Matthew, Abbey, Tori, and Holli. He will be missed by his sister, Kathleen, brother, Clayton, brother, Hugh and too many nieces and nephews to count. He and Patsy were active at NorthPark Baptist Church and enjoyed going to breakfast with their Sunday School Class. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 26, 2012 from 5 to 7 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be on Friday at 10:00 AM at Jefferson Memorial. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. Bill Wilks will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
