Mr. Rosetti was a "favorite son" and lifelong resident of Chesterton. He was a son of the late Ericole John and Adelina M. (DiPasquale) Rosetti. He was a 1948 graduate of Chesterton High School. On December 20, 1949, at St. Patrick Church in Chesterton, IN, he married Barbara Ann (Foster) Rosetti, of Chesterton, who survives. Also surviving: 6 children: John (Lori) Rosetti, Rhonda (John) Mullin, Jim (Desila) Rosetti, Jr., Carin Rosetti, Jeanine (Mike) McElfresh, all of Chesterton, Bob Rosetti, of Bolingbrook, IL; 1 sister, Rose Davison Schubert, of Chesterton; 12 grandchildren: Scott, Joanna, and Richard Rosetti, Matthew, Tess, and Benjamin Mullin, Amber and Alissa Rosetti, Mariel, Allena, Adeline and Mitchell McElfresh, all of Chesterton; great grandson, Gabriel Rosetti, of Chesterton. He was preceded in death by his son, Jay Rosetti, January 14, 1984, also his parents, John & Adelina Rosetti, four brothers and five sisters. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Chesterton, Chesterton Moose Lodge #1623 for 31 years. He was an ironworker with Local #395 for 44 years and formerly bowled in the Westchester Men's Bowling League. He was a man of faith. His devoted love and support for his family was number one in his life. His home was his pride and joy. He found pleasure in tending to his garden and flowers and enjoyed woodworking and cooking. He truly loved spending time with his grandchildren whom he loved dearly. He will be remembered for his hard work ethics, good natured spirit, and his strong love for his family and country. With 54 years of marriage, his wife Barbara was still the light of his life. Jim was a great, great man, and an even better father.
