LEHI - Funeral services for Ralph M. Smith, 93, of Lehi, who died Wednesday, July 25, 1973 of causes incident to age in a Pleasant Grove rest home, were held Saturday, July 28, 1973 at 2 p.m. in the Wing Mortuary, Lehi, where friends could call Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday prior to services.

Burial was in Lehi City Cemetery.

Mr. Smith was born Nov. 17, 1879 in Cedar Valley, a son of Thomas Kimball and Louisa Lochlin Smith. He married Elizabeth Shelton on June 1, 1903 in Aspen, Colorado, and she died.

He was a member of the LDS Church. A former employee of Golden Gate Mining Co. Mr. Smith had served as town councilman in Mercur.

Survivors included one son and two daughters, Grant D. Smith and Mrs. Cora Acord, both of Lehi; Mrs. James H. (Mildred) Wessel, El Cerrito, California; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
