She was the physical director of the Ottumwa YWCA in 1921 and 1922. She then went to Louisville, KY as a member of the YWCA physical education staff. The following year she was the teacher of physical education at KY College fo Women at Danville, KY.
She was married to Frank G. Fiedler in Decator, GA July 17, 1924. He survives as do two daughters; Mrs. Alice (Stanley) Haynes of Galesburg, IL and Mrs. Janet (Roy) Godecke of Gardnerville, NV., 6 grch, a sister and two brothers.
Mrs. Fiedler was an active member of First Presbyterian church and had just completed a three year term as an elder. She was also a member of Ottumwa Shakespeare Club of chapter HC, PEO and of the Mayflower Society of Iowa. She was a member of the Ottumwa Country Club and a golf enthusiast. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian church. Burial in Ottumwa cemetery. The body is at Jay funeral Home.
