FRENCHVILLE - Frederick M. Perrine, 77, of Frenchville passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.

Born July 1, 1934, at Bellefonte, he was a son of the late William L. and Kathryn Knisely Musser. He was adopted at an early age by his uncle and aunt, Theodore G. and Dorothy Kinsely Perrine.

Fred attended Clearfield High School.

He was of the Methodist faith.

On Jan. 21, 1952, at Clearfield he wed Mona I. Stevens who survives at home.

In his early years, he was a surveyor for HRI. Later he was a heavy equipment operator for River Hill Coal Co., retiring in the late 90's.

Fred was an avid hunter. He loved spending time in the outdoor, especially in the winter.

He and Mona loved the snow. Fred also enjoyed fishing, trapping and working with horses.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Anita L. Nelson of Frenchville, Todd F. Perrine and his wife, Sherry, of Snow Shoe and Steven H. Perrine of Frenchville.

Also surviving are his two brothers, Theodore M. Musser of Lititz and Randolph R. Musser of Bradenton, Fla.

In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by four brothers, William J., Lester "Stanley," Donald F. and Jack L. Musser, and two sisters, Margaret J. Garbrick and Shirley "Patsy" Musser.

Friends will be received Tuesday, June 19, from 6*8 p.m. at Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, 106 W. Sycamore St., Snow Shoe.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 20, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with elder Gary Jewart officiating.

Burial will follow at Askey Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Rocky Mountain Elk Federation, in care of Pennsylvania Chapter, 5705 Grant Creek, Missoula, MT 59808.
