Myrtle was born October 28, 1914 in Minneapolis to Albert and Emma (Olson) Holtman. She grew up in Minneapolis where she was confirmed at Bethlehem Luthern Church. She graduated from Minneapolis North High School. After hight school seh worked for Brown Photo and Munsingwear in Minneapolis. On April 7, 1948 she married Gottfred F. Dahlberg. After their marriage the couple moved to Cambridge where Gottfred farmed for many years. They lived their entire married life in Cambbridge. Gottred died November 6, 1982. Myrtle continued to live at home until earlier this year when she moved to Cambridge Health Care Center. She enjoyed baking, crocheting, and doing crossword puzzles. She was an active member of Cambridge Luthern Church where she had taught Sunday School and was involved with the Laides Circle.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gottfred and sisters Marion Nicoloff and Doris Olsen.
She is survived by son Tom Dahlberg, daugher Sandra (Dean) Strait, all of Cambridge. Arrangements were with the Carlson-Labatte Funeral Home in Cambridge.
