She was born in Valentine, NE on January 7, 1940 to Lyle and Sophia (White) Kunselman. Diane's father Lyle passed away when Diane was very young due to injuries suffered in WWII. She was then adopted by Irwin Adamson after his marriage to Sophia. Diane helped many as a professional counselor.
Her hobbies were photography, gardening and music.
Diane was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed dearly.
Diane is survived by her daughters, Michelle Waite, of Lincoln; Nicholle Soukup, of Norfolk, NE; grandchildren, Cody Waite, of Fort Campbell, KY; Logan Waite, of Lincoln; Shaena Bauer, of Lincoln; Seth Ford, of Lincoln; Matthew Lautenschlager, of North Aurora, IL; Haleigh Kappel, of Lincoln; Holden Soukup, of Norfolk, NE; great grandchildren, Payton Thompson, Kali Richardson, Reece Richardson, Grace Rademacher.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kellie Ford.
A memorial Service was held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 29, 2011 at The Columns at Pioneers Park, South Coddington Avenue, Lincoln with Deacon Christine Grosh officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in Valentine, NE.
