MECHANICSBURG - E. Blanche Emery, 89, of Mechanicsburg, formerly of Lewistown RR1, died at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, 2000, at the residence of her niece in Mechanicsburg. Born Oct. 3, 1910, in Entriken, she was the daughter of the late Horatio and Mary (Crouse) Fisher. Her husband, Howard M. Emery, died in 1970. She is survived by five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by two sons, Forrest Aurand and Larry Emery; and four brothers and a sister. She worked in the coning-finishing room at the American Viscose Corporation, Lewistown, for 14 years, retiring in 1941. She was a member of Jehovah's Witness, Lewistown. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with Mr. Harold F. Loudenslager officiating. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the services Thursday at the funeral home
