Frank Mockli was born July 10 1920 in Preston, Idaho, to Henry and Fredia Kristen Mockli. He graduated from Preston High School and Utah State University. He was active in all sports. He served in the Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean War. He received the Purple Heart twice. In the Korean war he was promoted to a Liutenant Colonel.He married Rosie Ruso in 1950, in California.
They have two children Marcia Paddock and Gary Mockli.
He was buried March 31 1988 with full military honors.
