Mom had great imagination which she passed on to her children. She was very intelligent - many said that they thought she might be a genius. And, being generous, she passed that intelligence out among her children without being overly generous to any particular one of us. She could be great fun and she left us with many stories to tell, one of which involved a White Witch in a cemetery on Halloween night, which earned a great review from the local press (shhhh - don't tell that she was the witch.) She also left each of us some little talent in art, or dancing, or story-telling. That's me (daughter Noel) on her lap.
