Tony, grew up in Double Springs, Al. He moved to Muncie, IN. as a young man and worked at Franks Foundry until his retirement. He served his country in Korea, wounded twice in combat receiving two Purple Hearts. Tony, along with his two buddies, Ewin Elmore and Newton Parrish spent much of his leisure time fishing, playing cards, and hanging out at the coffee shop on Madison St. Survivors include his wife Verna King, a sister Tina Daniels, brothers David, Charlie, Frank, Joe Neal King, all of Muncie. Tony was preceded in death by his parents James and Ethel King. Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary, Tuesday at 11:00 A. M. March 8th friends may call 4-8 P.M. Monday and prior to service. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Memorial Park with Military Rites by Veterans of Delaware Co.
