Graveside services will be at St. Paul United Methodist Church with the Rev. Michael Bruce officiating.
Mrs. Thames, a native of Hampton County, daughter of the late Oliver and Annie Mixson, had lived in New Ellenton for 42 years. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Charles Thames, Rock Hill; four daughters, Katherine Siple and Irma Seigler, both of Augusta, and Hazel Eaves and Gladys Britt, both of New Ellenton; two sisters, Ida Calvert, Brunson, and Lee Mixson, Estill; 17 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
