EV Reed was my grandfather. He was a wonderful God-fearing man and he taught me more about praying and getting to know the Lord than anyone I have ever known. He always had a story from the bible to tell us....how I miss those precious days. Papa was married to Ms. Lula Luckett and to their union seven children were born. He was predeceased by his youngest son M.T. Reed, and his parents Julia and Albert Reed. He is survived by his daughters Elaine, Shirley, Mona, his sons John, Victor, Kennedy, and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The morning he passed away, I was supposed to go see him. I always regret never seeing my grandfather that one last time. Papa thank you for teaching me how to pray and all the knowledge and guidance you gave our family. Until we meet again... save a place for us. Thank you Maggie for sponsoring my grandfather's page, and thank everyone for the beautiful flowers
