COOKSEY, AUGUSTA E.—Mrs. Augusta Cooksey McMahan was born August 21, 1855. She departed this life in Geneva, Neb., July 15, 1933, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Peter Kelch, at the age of 77 years, 10 months and 24 days.
December 27, 1874, she was united in marriage to W. H. Cooksey, who preceded her in death, March 28, 1912.

To this union were born nine children, four having preceded her in death. She is survived by Mrs. Lulu Dinneen of Exeter, Mrs. Maude Williams of Grand Junction, Col., Earl Cooksey of Carleton, Loran Cooksey of Exeter and Mrs. Grace Kelch of Geneva.

She was united in marriage to Jesse McMahan of Hope, Kas. November 17, 1913. Mr. McMahan passed away in July, 1921.
She was a charter member of the Christian Church of Geneva and retained her membership in this church until her death.

Mrs. McMahan is survived by sixteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, four brothers and four sisters, as well as many other relatives and friends.

The funeral service was held at the Christian Church in Geneva at 2 p.m. Tuesday and was conducted by Rev. David Tudor of the Congregational Church. Interment was in the Geneva Cemetery.
