Middle name Caroline perhaps that why she was also called Lena
She was first married to Ludwig Kleyensteuber, deserted him and married his brother
Perhaps that's why the last name was changed

The Quincy Daily Whig, Saturday, February 10, 1906; Page: 5 divorce suit filed Ludwig Kleyensteuber against Caroline Kleyensteuber
