A.G. CAVER was son of Henry & Catherine Caver, who emigrated from Orangeburg, SC, around 1820 and settled in Autauga County, Ala. A.G. Caver was a planter in the old Milton Community in Western Autauga County.


"Last week in the 73rd year of his life, Mr. A.G. CAVER, a highly respected citizen, died with the grippe at his home in the western part of the county. He was the father of Mr. A.D. Caver of Prattville. His remains were deposited in the old family cemetery near his home." Prattville Progress, Feb. 19, 1892
