Esther C. (Connie), 86, passed away December 16, 2001. Connie was born June 20, 1915 in Oran, Missouri to Jason Leroy and Della Pearl. She was a charter member of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Oklahoma City. Connie worked for The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company in St. Louis where she met her husband, Ralph. They moved to Oklahoma City in the late 40's where they raised their family and ultimately retired. She was active in church activities, especially, the Day Break Program. Connie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ralph and siblings Mary, Leola, Jean, and Arville. She is survived by a sister, Helen Hanson of Florida; her children and their spouses, Philip Linnemann of Norman, OK, Gail Payne of Lawrenceville, GA, and Ross Linnemann, of Edmond, OK; grandchildren, Amy, Jay, Mikayla, Ember, Nicole, Joncee, April, and Reid, and great-grandchild, Emma Linn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Day Break, c/o Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, PO Box 20508, Oklahoma City, OK 73156-0508. A prayer vigil will be held on December 20, 2001, 7:00 p.m. at Guardian North Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, December 21, 2001, 10:00 a.m. with interment at Resurrection Cemetery. GUARDIAN NORTH 11600 N. Pennsylvania Ave.
