Patricia A. Abramczyk


Patricia A. Abramczyk, age 83, of Millcreek, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at her residence. She was born in Erie on August 25, 1928, a daughter of the late Harry and Katherine Christensen Goodman.

She graduated from Academy High School.

Patricia worked in the Millcreek School District food service for many years. She was a member of St. Julia Church where she was a member of the Rosary Society.

Her children and grand children were everything to her. Patricia especially enjoyed traveling to visit her family with her husband Ed and spending winters on the Florida coast. She really enjoyed everyone's pets and took care of them all. Her home was a welcome place to one and all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Goodman and a sister, Jean Parks. Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Edward Abramczyk; five children: Nancy Kulhanek and her husband Keith of Erie, Douglas Abramczyk and his wife Karen of Virginia, Jeff Abramczyk and his wife Petra of Florida, Erin Grack and her husband Doug of Erie and Ed and his wife Deb of Virginia; 13 grandchildren: Dustin Phillips, Erin DiGello, Jayme Turos, Rachel Abramczyk, Tiffany Reidnauer, Tim and Jeremy Lee, Emily, Hayden, Molly and Sara Grack, Alison and Jordan Abramczyk; three great grandsons, Jacob, Jack and Ben and a special niece, Chris Smykowski of Erie.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home on Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a prayer service there on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Julia Church 3750 Westlake Road Erie, Pa 16505 at 10:00 a.m.

Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
