There were a bunch of us cousins living in Generys Gap back then, (40' and 50').
We played all over Shades Mountain and in the creeks.
Most of us went to Greenwood and Mcadory schools.
Then we scattered and went our own ways.
Cecil went in the Marines, Kenny went in the Army and I went in the Navy.
Cecil had a real sharp 1948 Ford coupe I always wanted one like it, I got one but it was almost a junker.
