Bobby Ray King, 63, passed away on August 2, 2012. He was born on February 25, 1949. Bobby served in the military and he also was a harvest driver for 14 years. He loved working with his animals, and his favorite pastime in his later years was driving his scooter through town to see who he could meet. He loved going to the car wash to see what kind of new treasures he could find. Bobby was loved by many, and he never met a stranger. When Bobby met you, you weren't just someone passing by, but you were a friend.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Lillian of the home; three brothers, two step-sisters, two grandchildren Robert and Raven King, and his father William "Bill" King; his extended family, Lill's sisters and brothers, not to forget the nieces, nephews and many others. A special place in Bobby's heart was his father-in-law who he considered his second dad, William R. Moore.
Bobby was preceded in death by his son Toby King, daughter Sarah King and his mother and stepfather. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on August 20, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Talihina. Services are entrusted to Talihina Funeral Home in Talihina.
