Mrs. Mary Ann Tyler, a resident of Wynne, Arkansas, departed this life, Friday, August 3, 2012, in Wynne, at the age of sixty-nine. She was born on December 14, 1942, in Bigelow, Arkansas, the daughter of Knotley Ovid and Anna Mae (Freeman) Stain. She married Mr. Earnest Elmo Tyler on December 31, 1959.
Mrs. Tyler was a homemaker and member of Becksburg Baptist Church in Forrest City. She enjoyed oil painting, interior decorating, flower arranging, flower gardening, helping others decorate their homes, spending time with her family and friends. She was always busy helping and looking after others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother: Frankie Rankin and one sister: Lillie White.
Mary is survived by her husband of fifty-two years: Elmo Tyler of the home, two daughters: Kathy Creasey and husband Leon of Mountain View, Arkansas, Pat Turner and Mark of Forrest City, Arkansas, four brothers: John Stain of Arkansas, Ricky Stain of Cabot, Arkansas, Knotley Stain, Jr. of Beebe, Arkansas Wayne Stain of Camden, Arkansas, four sisters: Alice Gardner of Cabot, Arkansas, Brenda King of Cabot, Arkansas, Cleo Wilhite of Cabot, Arkansas, Ruby Smothers of Sheridan, Arkansas, four grandchildren: Stephanie Gailey, Justin Futrell, Mallory Futrell and Natalie Turner, two great grandchildren: Ainslee Theodore and Christian Evans.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10.00 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2012, at the Thompson-Wilson Wynne Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Cogbill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 till 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home. 870-238-9400
